We offer a variety of delivery options, with nationwide delivery across SA. Any special delivery or product requests must please be typed into the 'Comments' box when checking out. We are relatively flexible and will always try to accommodate your requests wherever possible. We pride ourselves in giving a personal service to our shoppers.

How do we get your order to you?

OPTION 1 - Courier to Outlying Towns/Areas
We execute our deliveries in SA via independent courier companies and are therefore only able to deliver to the areas that they cover. For outlying or rural areas, we deliver to 'in-town' addresses only, no small holdings or farms.
Standard courier fees to outlying areas/towns will be charged to all orders, regardless of the order value. As such, the free delivery benefit for orders over a specific value will not apply to orders being delivered to outlying towns/areas.
Our preferred couriers charge for deliveries by volumetric weight. This means that, on occasion, the delivery costs charged to us for larger/heavier than normal parcels may exceed our standard website charge for outlying deliveries. (This sometimes applies to some of the larger items such as some Homeware products, Salad Bowls, Baskets, Cheese Boards, etc) On these occasions, the additional delivery fee will be charged to you before delivery can be booked. Please inquire if you are unsure.
OPTION 2 - Courier to Major Centres
Courier to major centres comes at a nominal fee for orders under R1500 or FREE if your order value is over R1500. Orders are usually processed within an hour of receiving them during working hours. Once your order is ready to be dispatched, you will receive your goods delivered to your door within 2-4 working days by our trusted courier/s.
Please be sure to use a physical address where someone is available to take delivery between 8am - 6pm on weekdays.
You do not need to personally sign for your parcel; another person may take delivery on your behalf, but will need to sign for the parcel.
Currently these are our major centres (central areas of the following cities: Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth, East London, Polokwane, Nelspruit, Bloemfontein, and Stellenbosch).
OPTION 3 – Pudo Locker
For a slightly more “admin-heavy” delivery - but at a better price - you are welcome to opt to collect your parcel from a local PUDO locker in your area. For this option, please select PUDO Locker during check-out. We will contact you via email and/or whatsapp requesting the relevant information for your preferred locker. We will need the exact name and address of your preferred collection locker and will then arrange everything for you.
Your collection information will be communicated with you via email and/or whatsapp as soon as the delivery has been booked by us.
Please note that PUDO deliveries do sometimes tend to take a bit longer than regular courier services, and can take up to 7 working days depending on where the locker is situated.
Once your parcel has arrived at your preferred collection locker you will receive an SMS with a collection pin code from PUDO as well as a notification/reminder from us via email and/or whatsapp.
You will need to collect your parcel from the chosen locker within 36 hours. If not collected within that time frame you parcel will be returned to the relevant PUDO Hub. Should this happen, you will need to personally arrange collection of your parcel from the PUDO Hub directly or to personally re-book a new locker delivery directly with PUDO.
OPTION 4 – Courier to PE
We are based in Gqeberha (formerly PE), which means we’re able to offer a reduced rate on courier deliveries in/around the friendly city. If you would like your parcel delivered to your door in PE, please select this option and follow the prompts. Deliveries in/around PE are usually pretty quick, but can take up to 2 working days, depending on the local courier’s delivery schedule.
OPTION 5 – Collect from Office (PE Only)
You are welcome to collect your order from our premises on 64 Main Road, Walmer. We will inform you via email and/or whatsapp as soon as your order is ready for collection.
Collection times are during normal working hours, between 9am and 5pm from Monday-Friday, excluding public all holidays.
This option also affords you the opportunity to book your own preferred courier to collect from our premises on your behalf. To arrange this (and to send us the relevant info/waybill details, etc), please liaise with our customer service department via email info@aplacetoshop.co.za
*PLEASE NOTE: A Place To Shop outsources it’s delivery process to external courier services. As such, we cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by the courier/s. Please be assures that we do, however, always try to remain in constant contact with our preferred courier companies, always doing our best to ensure that they offer you the most efficient service possible on our behalf.
Undeliverable Packages: Occasionally packages are returned to us marked undeliverable by the courier company. Should this take place every attempt will be made to contact you to make arrangements for re-shipment.

SHIPPING & RETURNS
Returns Policy
We have a 10-day return policy, which means you have 10 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you our return address details that you can send to with your courier. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
